New developments are mostly related to high upfront investments. Expenses for internal work, prototype materials, approvals, but also for external service providers arise well before the first proceeds from a new product. State subsidy programs partially compensate for this liquidity disadvantage with financial grants for new and further developments. Depending on the funding program, financial grants are granted for the entire development project, individual project sections or certain external services. Follow-up funding is also possible. With our funding advice, a funding program is selected as part of the system analysis, since services and goods that have already been paid for cannot be claimed retrospectively. The basis for an application for funding is a concept, the level of detail and scope of which generally increases with the amount of funding.

The effort to apply for funding is worthwhile in three ways. A successful approval notice provides financial support. The preparation of the funding application in accordance with the provisions of the funding program supports the structured recording of goals, relationships, processes and prospects of success of the project. Funded projects are often associated with discounted trade fair participations and project meetings, which offer an ideal platform for project presentations.
