Development Electronics
Our expertise and experience in electronics manufacturing flows into the development process for your new product from the very beginning. This allows us to deliver prototypes that close to being ready for serial production from the very first design cycle as part of our commitment to creating design for both manufacturability and testability (DFM and DFT). This also results in a considerable reduction in the time it takes to move from the idea to product launch.
Development Hardware
Robust systems require robust hardware. EBS-SYSTART GmbH develops robust hardware for all industry sectors. Our developers take your system requirements to determine your hardware requirements and the standards you need to meet. These requirements are then used to develop hardware offering optimal functionality, durability, and serial production costs. Of course, we support you through every certification process, whether it's product safety, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), energy efficiency, or environmental tests.
Development Power Electronics
EBS-SYSTART GmbH develops customer-specific power supplies especially for laser and piezo applications up to 16 kW. Our power supplies are used in various applications.
Development Software
Software fills hardware with intelligence and life. Firmware updates ensure that your hardware remains compatible with future interface protocols. Remote maintenance and remote diagnostics via the internet set your product apart from your competitors.
Development Mechanical
CAD tools are used to integrate circuit boards, displays, switches, connectors, cables and housings. This helps identify and resolve any collisions among the units even before the first prototype is built. In addition, cooling concepts and design can be analysed and discussed up front.
Manufacturing - Electronics
Our electronics production facility specialises in the production of prototypes and medium-sized series. We can draw on a number of assembly methods depending on the quantities involved. This flexibility allows maximum cost optimisation even for small batches or individual items. Our SMD line can assemble medium-sized series at an affordable price. In addition to THT and SMD assembly, we offer reworking and module assembly as well.
Manufacturing - SMD assembly
The SMD assembly of EBS-SYSTART GmbH is continuously optimized through a continuous exchange of knowledge with suppliers and consultants. We will be happy to support you in the preparation of your production documents and in the design of the panels. This allows your prototypes to be efficiently assembled and valuable experience to be gained for series transfer. You will find more information about the three steps of SMD assembly below.
Manufacturing - THT assembly
Newly developed assemblies have fewer and fewer THT components. Nevertheless, THT assembly will continue to be used for robust plugs and sockets as well as high-mass components in the future. Our electronics production consistently uses selective soldering processes for THT assembly. EBS-SYSTART GmbH has two soldering processes at its disposal for this purpose.

Component assembly at EBS-SYSTART combines precise manufacturing technology with flexibly adaptable work processes. Our services complement SMD and THT assembly with comprehensive assembly and testing steps that are precisely tailored to your requirements. This results in efficient production processes and consistently high quality – from prototypes to series production.
Manufacturing - Tape End Test
Standardised and continuous quality tests are carried out for each production step described. Furthermore, we offer functional tests or end-of-line tests at the end of each production milestone in our test field.
